2023 City Nature Challenge

Reflection Riding is a 501(c)(3) environmental learning hub that reconnects Chattanoogans with nature. Filling an important need for outdoor experience in our technology-driven world, we envision a healthier, more creative city whose residents become stewards of their natural surroundings. Whether you're a green thumb or just aspiring to learn more about plant conservation, Reflection Riding's native plant nursery and arboretum team can't wait to introduce you to the wonders of the plant world. Help us cure plant blindness; bring a friend!

Wildlife Experiences at the Nature Center

Join us for fun, interactive and educational programming discussing our red wolves, various raptor species, herps and more! We work to make every experience engaging for a variety of interest levels and ages.

Join our staff as we participate in the 2023 City Nature Challenge along with over 500 cities worldwide! The <a href="https://www.citynaturechallenge.org" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">City Nature Challenge</a> is an international effort for people to find and document plants and wildlife in cities across the globe. It’s a bioblitz-style competition where cities are in a contest against each other to see who can make the most observations of nature, who can find the most species, and who can engage the most people. Owl Prowl </li></ul>These programs will happen outdoors, so don&#x27;t forget to dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes and bring along anything else you might need to enjoy time outdoors in this season. In the event of severe weather, programs may have to be canceled and refunds offered.
