2025 Fall Walkabout - November

There are currently three county-owned properties under the jurisdiction of the Park Department:• Canal Lands Park, part of the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail• Norma Johnson Center• Trenton Heritage ParkOur staff work hard on providing quality programs at all three locations for the community members of the Tuscarawas County and its surrounding neighbors.

2025 Walkabout Dates

Join our staff as we head out onto the trail and explore our park locations and the Ohio Erie Canal Towpath. We will meet at various trailheads throughout the year.

<h2>Fall Walkabout -November</h2>Come join us for the last Fall Walkabout of the year starting at Fort Laurens near Bolivar, Ohio! Get ready to explore the towpath along the Tuscarawas River. This in person event is the perfect opportunity to embrace the Fall and connect with others with similar likes. The group will meet at the last picnic shelter in the drive near loop turn around by the trailhead. Don't miss out on this wonderful outdoor experience!Registration is preferred but not required.
