What happens in case of bad weather?

The captain will assess weather conditions. If a cruise is canceled due to weather, tickets are refundable. Please provide contact information when booking to receive timely updates.

Are we handicapped accessible?

Sheffield Island is a rocky outcrop with rolling terrain and the docking facilities do not meet ADA regulations. Every effort has been made to minimize non-compliance. The gangway leading from the dock to the Island is wide enough to accommodate a standard wheelchair.

Can I bring my own drinks?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you are encouraged to bring your own beverages, including alcohol. Please note that no beverages are provided or sold at the event. Coolers must fit under the seats, adhering to USCG regulations.

Are there bathrooms on the ferry? On the island?

Yes there are bathroom facilities both on the ferry and on Sheffield Island.

Where is parking?

Accepted Answer

Cruises will depart from our dock located at 90 Water Street. The dock location is directly across from the Grit Ninja Norwalk Gym. There is no parking at our dock & limited handicapped spaces. The closest paid parking lot is at 5 Haviland Street. https://www.parknorwalk.org
