What happens in case of bad weather?

The captain on duty will determine if the weather conditions will not allow us to go out. Tickets are non-refundable unless there is a weather cancellation by the captain.

Are we handicapped accessible?

Accepted Answer

Sheffield Island is a rocky outcrop with rolling terrain and the docking facilities do not meet ADA regulations. Every effort has been made to minimize non-compliance. The gangway leading from the dock to the Island is wide enough to accommodate a standard wheelchair.

Can we bring our own food and drinks?

Accepted Answer

Yes, passengers are encouraged to bring their own food and beverages. Please remember to bring plastic cups and openers, as glass containers are discouraged. Food & beverages are not available for purchase.

Cruises will depart from our dock located at 90 Water Street. The dock location is directly across from the Grit Ninja Norwalk Gym. There is no parking at our dock & limited handicapped spaces. The closest paid parking lot is at 5 Haviland Street. https://www.parknorwalk.org

What should I bring?

Personal food and beverages.
Plastic cups and bottle openers.
Camera or binoculars for sightseeing.
Light jacket or sweater for cooler evenings.

Yes, the Norwalk Seaport Sunset Cruise is open to guests of all ages. 
While the cruise is family-friendly, it's important to note that the experience is designed as a relaxing, scenic journey through Norwalk Harbor and Long Island Sound. There are no specific children's activities on board.
