2026 CROW Summer Conservation Camp
Campers will spend time at CROW, meet ambassador animals, and learn about wildlife conservation!

Students will utilize critical thinking skills learned in the classroom for real-world applications in the areas of science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM). Participants are on CROW’s campus with the education team. Campers will meet members of the clinic staff, students, and volunteers to learn about the wildlife that call Southwest Florida home and discuss the conservation threats those species face. The camp curriculum meets Florida’s Next Generation Science Standards for content and dissection.
2nd-12th Grade Camp Hours are from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
K-1st Grade Camp Hours are from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Optional Aftercare for an additional $15 (Until 4 pm or 1 pm)
During camp, students will be given the opportunity(s) to dissect a specimen for educational purposes*. Please note that animals utilized for the dissection portion of the camp have been procured from suppliers subject to inspections and compliance orders from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), under the Animal Welfare Act.
*Campers in the K-1st grade camp will not dissect animal specimen.
The 2nd-4th grade camp will dissect owl pellets and starfish. The 5th-8th grade camp will dissect frogs and rats.
Campers will not be handling or dissecting CROW patients.
