What sort of cabins are these?

Accepted Answer

These are traditional sleepaway summer camp cabins, so participants will need to bring sleeping bags and pillows or other bedding with them to supplement the mattress and bunk provided.  You will be able to drive up to the cabins to unload any gear you bring.

Can the camp accomodate my dietary restriction?

Yes, CJH staff have experience working around a wide range of dietary restrictions, please make sure you let us know about yours when you sign up.

Question 3

Will there be electricity on-site?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but in a very limited fashion.  Camp has power supplied by a generator during the waking hours, but it shuts off at night.  Cabins have a very limited availability of power outlets, at most one per cabin.

Question 4

Will there be internet access on-site?

Accepted Answer

Again, yes, but in a very limited fashion.  We encourage everyone to plan for a weekend of being largely disconnected from the outside world, but there has been limited wifi access for parts of camp via a satellite connection for the past couple of years.  Do not expect to get cell service on site.

Question 5

Can I send my child without me?

Accepted Answer

Yes, however there must be an adult attending who is willing to be their designated guardian for the weekend, as all attendees under 18 must have an adult present who is responsible for their care.
