2026 True Blue Flower Co. Bioblitz

Welcome to the 2026 True Blue Flower Co. Bioblitz!

Join us for a morning of exploring the nature right outside our door; insects, birds, wildflowers, fungi, and whatever else we can find; on the beautiful grounds of True Blue Flower Co. in Minnesota Lakes Country.

Registering is highly encouraging as it helps us assess space needs for the morning.

This Bioblitz will be an introduction to nature, not a competition. If you've ever been curious about iNaturalist but weren't sure where to start, this is the perfect low-pressure way to learn. By the end of the morning you'll know how to make an observation, get a species ID, and contribute real data to science. Plus, you'll have the confidence to keep going on your own long after the event ends.

We'll be wandering through flower fields, poking around field edges, watching for pollinators, and documenting whatever living things cross our path. Beginners are not just welcome, they're exactly who this is for. No experience with iNaturalist (or nature!) necessary.

What to expect:
A short iNaturalist orientation, small guided groups, a wrap-up to share what we found, and a whole lot of time outside in a genuinely beautiful place.

What to bring:
Your phone, weather-appropriate clothes and sturdy shoes, water, and curiosity.
