2026 Utah Gang Conference

The Salt Lake Area Gang Project is pleased to announce the 2026 Utah Gang Conference. Join us for the latest information on local and national gang trends and activities. This conference is designed for patrol officers, detectives, administrators , educators, prosecutors, city officials, policy makers, community leaders, and youth service providers.

The keynote speaker will be Levi Hancock, who was a SWAT officer on scene during the 2017 Las Vegas mass-casualty shooting. Other topics this year will include Undercover Operations, Prison Criminal Gangs, Cartel Homicide, Gangs 101, Bath Salts, Juvenile Trends, Regional Update, Drugs 101, Graffiti, along with Juvenile Law and Prosecution. The conference registration fee is $300.00 per person. If paying by check, make checks payable to the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office. All conference materials will be provided for you at the packet pickup which will be held at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center starting at 7:30 a.m. on July 7th. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided on both days. Free parking is available at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center.
