2nd Saturday Bicycle Repair Event
Overview

Join us for an engaging event focused on teaching bicycle repair skills while refurbishing bikes for donation to individuals in need.

Read This First: Have you volunteered with us before? Are you familiar enough to work somewhat independently and guide others? Then you don't have to register through Eventbrite. You can walk in and volunteer whenever you have time.

Information for first time volunteers:

Event Details:

  • All volunteers are expected to abide by our Code of Conduct
  • Please arrive a few minutes early to sign the waiver form and our volunteer form. The orientation will begin promptly at 10:00. Arriving late is disruptive for the orientation.
  • Hands-On Learning: Gain practical experience with tools and techniques.
  • When you arrive instructional material #1 and #2 will provide step by step guidance.
  • Experienced mentor mechanics will be available to help guide you in repairs.
  • We encourage working in groups of two or more.
  • Bikes repaired by our volunteers are donated through our partner organizations. Click here to find out more information about our partners.

Who Should Attend:

  • This event is open to all ages and skill levels. Whether you're a beginner, intermediate or advanced, this event offers a supportive environment to enhance your bike maintenance skills.
  • Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult until the event leader confirms their ability to work independently.
  • There is limited capacity for this event, so please only register if you have high confidence you will attend. If that changes, please cancel your order if you are no longer able to make it so others who want to attend, can attend.
