Welcome to Clark County, Nevada 4-H!Interested in joining 4-H? There are a few ways that students can be involved in the 4-H Program in Clark County.Youth and families can join an existing 4-H club around the county. Clubs are open to youth ages 9-19. Children between 5-8 (Cloverbuds) are welcome to attend club meetings but have to be accompanied by an adult at all times. Check out the clubs shared on our Eventbrite profile for club information and meeting dates.Youth are also welcome to join any of the programs and classes that Clark County 4-H offers. These include multi-session programs, day camp, and overnight camps. It began a century ago as an educational program for the nation's rural youth. Today, 4-H meets the needs of and engages young people in positive youth development experiences. 4-H is the youth development education program of University of Nevada, Reno Extension.4-H is the largest out-of-school youth organization in the United States with over 7 million members. There are over 49,000 young people engaged in 4-H programs across the state of Nevada alone. The 4-H program promotes life skills development through an expanding number of delivery modes: 4-H community and project clubs, military and 4-H after-school programs, special interest groups, school enrichment, library programming, recreational and community center partnerships, camping opportunities and much more.4-H participants are all youth, ages 5 to 19, taking part in programs provided as the result of actions planned and initiated by Extension personnel in cooperation with volunteers and families. 4-H is characterized as being community-centered, volunteer-led, Extension staff supervised, research-based, home and family-oriented, publicly and privately funded and responsive to change. 4-H Day Camps

Clark County 4-H offers a variety of educational day camps and multi-day summer camps tailored to youth development. These programs feature hands-on STEAM activities, cooking, arts and crafts, outdoor environmental exploration, and leadership development.

4-H Arrow Agents STEAM Day Camp Hosted at the North Las Vegas Extension Office | 2280 N McDaniel St, North las Vegas, NVHave you always wanted to become a secret agent? Come join 4-H and become secret agents who embark on fun archery and STEAM related activities to solve a mission.We will be traveling to the Clark County Shooting Complex for our archery mission and return to the North Las Vegas Extension Office to complete our STEAM missions.This event is open to all youth ages 9-13. Youth must be within the designated age ranges, no exceptions. Youth must be 9 years old as of Jan. 1st, 2024. This day camp is $10. Lunch and snacks will be provided.Check in starts at 8:30 A.M and pickup is at 4:30 P.M.
