A Community Fútbol Fans Feeder Ride from Compton to SoFi
📅 Friday, June 12, 2026 🚴 Compton/Slauson Metro Bike Share Station → Metro K Line→ Inglewood Sports & Entertainment District ⚽ USA vs. Paraguay — 6:00 PM PT kickoff at SoFi Stadium 🎟️ Free to ride. Match ticket sold separately.
The World Cup is finally here. The first match of the tournament LA has waited a generation for is happening eight miles from where you live — and we're not driving to it.
BikeLA, LA Walks, Better Bike Share Partnership, and Metro Bike Share are hosting a supporters march on wheels. No cars. No $80 surge Ubers. No three-hour parking lot crawl. Just bikes, transit, banners, drums, music, food, and the loudest soccer city in America showing up the way we deserve to show up.
This is matchday the way it should feel.
This ride ends at the Inglewood Station Metro Activation. Metro's Station Activations program is bringing World Cup energy to more than 15 stations across the region, turning everyday transit stops into vibrant, welcoming spaces that connect riders to matches and fan zones. Inglewood Station is one of them — and on June 12, we're rolling right into it.
From Inglewood Station, the party keeps moving. The Wood Cup Open Street event takes you the rest of the way to SoFi — a car-free, pedestrian and bike-friendly open street activation connecting the station to the stadium. Follow the crowd, the music, and the flags all the way to kickoff. Whether you have a ticket into SoFi or you're watching at a nearby watch party, the Wood Cup Open Street is the move. Get your FREE Wood Cup tickets here.
