How do these diverse natural and manmade environments come together to shape a uniquely American identity? It’s time to embark on a sweeping journey uncovering the architecture, culture, and character that define the United States across its most remarkable landscapes.

Join New York Adventure Club as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday with an epic 10-part series exploring a curated selection of stories, influences, and environments that have shaped the nation’s most iconic places. In Part Six: Florida, we’ll explore a state where coastal beauty, cultural fusion, and vibrant design come together across historic cities, tropical landscapes, and modern attractions.

Led by tour guide Kelsey Betzelberger, this experience — featuring plenty of firsthand photo and video walkthroughs, intriguing anecdotes, and expert insights — will include:

• St. Augustine’s colonial architecture — wander cobblestone streets lined with Spanish-colonial buildings, visiting the Cathedral Parish of St. Augustine and Castillo de San Marcos to experience centuries-old design and history
• Orlando’s blend of past and present — explore Church Street and historic districts alongside modern entertainment environments, where themed design and architecture shape immersive experiences
• Everglades natural landscapes — venture into Everglades National Park to witness water-shaped ecosystems and vast sawgrass marshes, where nature itself forms a living architectural environment
• St. Petersburg’s art and culture — visit the Dali Museum and explore streets filled with galleries and cafés, reflecting the city’s vibrant artistic identity and coastal charm
• From Key West to Kennedy Space Center — travel through the Florida Keys’ coastal architecture to high-tech design at Kennedy Space Center, highlighting the state’s range from tropical to technological
