How do these diverse natural and manmade environments come together to shape a uniquely American identity? It’s time to embark on a sweeping journey uncovering the architecture, culture, and character that define the United States across its most remarkable landscapes.

Join New York Adventure Club as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday with an epic 10-part series exploring a curated selection of stories, influences, and environments that have shaped the nation’s most iconic places. In Part Seven: New York City (Skyline), we’ll explore the evolution of one of the world’s most recognizable skylines, where ambition, innovation, and design have shaped a vertical city like no other.

Led by tour guide Kelsey Betzelberger, this experience — featuring plenty of firsthand photo and video walkthroughs, intriguing anecdotes, and expert insights — will include:

• Lower Manhattan’s architectural evolution — explore the financial district, where historic stone façades stand alongside modern glass towers, reflecting the city’s layered development over time
• Central Park and surrounding design — stroll through Central Park, where bridges, arches, and surrounding Upper East Side and Midtown architecture create a blend of natural and urban design
• Empire State Building and skyline views — ascend this iconic skyscraper for panoramic views that reveal the density and verticality of Manhattan’s skyline
• Times Square’s modern spectacle — experience the vibrant lights, digital billboards, and constant motion that define one of the most recognizable urban spaces in the world
• Statue of Liberty and cultural landmarks — take a ferry to the Statue of Liberty and explore major cultural sites like the Metropolitan Opera House, highlighting the city’s symbolic and artistic presence
