ERICA S. BREAM, CSAstarted working in Casting when she was 18 years old. Since then, she has worked on projects across all mediums, including on titles such as ECHOES (Netflix), TELL ME YOUR SECRETS (Amazon), ALTERED CARBON (Netflix), CRIMINAL MINDS (CBS), STAR TREK: INTO DARKNESS (Paramount), 11:22.63 (Hulu) and many others, including the upcoming DOLLY PARTON’S MOUNTAIN MAGIC CHRISTMAS (NBC), PANHANDLE (Spectrum) and THE WINCHESTERS (CW). Notably, Bream has co-cast thirteen seasons of the prestigious Young Playwrights Festival for The Blank Theatre Company. Over the years, Bream’s work in theatre, short film and television casting has garnered her nine Artios nominations and a win in the Los Angeles Theatre category.

Casting Director, Erica S. Bream has been teaching audition technique for over 18 years. Her passion lies in helping actors gain confidence in their self-taping abilities by providing real-world experiences, examples and constructive feedback.

<h2>Action in audition sides can run the gamut. It can look like:</h2><ul><li>D﻿riving</li><li>K﻿issing</li><li>F﻿ighting</li><li>R﻿unning</li><li>P﻿laying a sport</li><li>U﻿sing a weapon</li><li>D﻿ancing</li><li>S﻿moking</li></ul><h2>W﻿hether action appears as a short blip or in a sea of stage direction, audition sides that include any sort of movement can make the most seasoned actor a little crazy.</h2><h3>This two-week class will take actors through some of the major &quot;how much of this should I actually do?!&quot; audition hurdles, helping you focus your energy and efforts so you can perform these weird and wild audition scenes un-self-consciously, showing your best work and your highly professional composure.</h3><h3></h3><h3>CLASS REQUIREMENTS:</h3><ol><li> A good internet connection</li><li>The ability to self-tape</li></ol><h2>WHY SHOULD YOU TAKE THIS CLASS? </h2>Casting Directors are not trying to torture performers with these scenes. Promise. We expect actors to be able to look at these types of sides, discern what&#x27;s important and make choices that work for the audition space.This class will help you pick these scenes apart, see what works, what doesn&#x27;t (and why,) and teach you how to break things down so that you can make choices that work for both you AND the scene.<h3>CLASS SCHEDULE:</h3>TUESDAY, OCTOBER 3 - Final day to register or request a full refundTUESDAY, OCTOBER 10 - First set of sides and instructions are sent to participants.
