Overview

Join us to celebrate our Ancestors by looking at our past, assessing our present, and preparing for our future. 34th Ancestor Commemoration

ADACI presents SANKOFA: Ancestory Memory, Present Practice, Future Possibilities--

Many of our teachers, Jegna, warriors, and loved ones have recently transitioned, and we are here to use their teachings and ways of knowing to not only survive the current onslaught, but to thrive under these adverse conditions. This year's program calls upon each of us to remember or relearn our traditional ways of knowing and being, and to use the works of our Ancestors to follow in their footsteps, persist, and thrive. We are our Ancestors, and as Brother Anthony Browder declares, “We are the vessels through which our ancestors live and do their best work.” JOIN US! (White attire requested)
