How do I receive hiking location information? Where does the group meet?

Accepted Answer

After signing up, participants will be messaged with the first hiking location. Hikers who are requesting transportation must meet at Richmond Heights City Hall at 26789 Highland Road.. Participants who do not need transportation are encouraged to meet at the hiking location.

How difficult are the hikes? Do I need hiking experience?

Accepted Answer

Most hikes are considered easy to moderate and are designed to accommodate a variety of fitness levels. Trails may include uneven terrain, hills, stairs, and natural surfaces. Hikes will generally be under 2 miles, and 2 hours including breaks.

What happens if it rains?

Hikes may proceed in light rain. Severe weather conditions may result in cancellation or rescheduling. Participants will be notified of any changes.

What should I bring?

Participants are encouraged to bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray.
