Adult Summer Camp Nostalgia Crafts and Movie
Beat the summer heat by spending an evening recreating all of your favorite childhood crafts while watching a classic summer camp movie!
Enjoy the AC, a movie, and crafts with us this summer! The Bowen Library would like to take you back to your childhood with some classic projects known for being summer camp favorites--friendship bracelets, pony bead lizard keychains, and colorful bondoongles/lanyards. All supplies will be free and provided for by the library. All you have to do is bring yourself and some friends to exhange creations with! We will also be showing the classic The Parent Trap (1961) as well!
This is not a led activity. The library staff will help struggling participants if needed, but this program is self led. There will be instructions for each of the crafts at the tables.
Feel free to bring your kids to pass these nostalgic crafting skills down to! Please, email us if you'd like to bring your children.
