FREE EVENT - Winding Waters is home to many native animals. Help us restore habitat by weeding food sources we planted for these animals.
REGISTRATION OPENS 6/10 @ 10AM
Winding Waters is home to many native animals. Racoons, opossums, gopher tortoise, and rabbits all live in the pine flatwoods habitat. Join us in the habitat restoration process by weeding food sources we planted for these animals. Snacks, water and tools will be provided.
WHAT TO BRING:
- Water bottle
- Hat and sunscreen
- Insect repellent
- Appropriate clothing (hat, hiking shoes/boots, long-sleeved shirts and pants for bugs)
This site does not have any restroom facilities, but are nearby at Dyer Park. The parking lot for Winding Waters is located within Dyer Park.
Please no pets or unaccompanied minors.
