Our “Age Friendly” events show you strategies to successfully navigate the challenges of aging and maintain a healthy, active lifestyle. (Find all our events at https://ufsarasotaext.eventbrite.com)

As we age, we all experience bone loss but, developing osteoporosis is not inevitable. Do you know if you are at risk of developing osteoporosis? There are many lifestyle factors that affect bone health. This class will discuss the difference between osteopenia and osteoporosis and will present strategies to encourage bone building habits. The class will also discuss dietary factors and lifestyle factors that can contribute to bone health.
