Natural Areas Conservancy will host a Super Steward: Pathkeeper training on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Alley Pond Park. If you are attending, please fill out this waiver.
Note: Every attendee must fill out waiver. If you have others joining, please ensure they fill out the waiver above as well.
Location: Alley Pond Park Adventure Course Parking Lot [Please use pinned location here and not eventbrite travel directions]
Time: 10am - 1pm
During this training you will learn:
- How to identify and assess trail conditions
- Ways to mitigate trail concerns
- Plant identification and introduced species management techniques
- Standard trail corridor dimensions & how to prune native vegetation using basic arboriculture methods
What should you bring:
- A water bottle
- Weather appropriate clothing
- Long pants
- Sturdy, closed toe shoes
All participants are encouraged to attend the Super Steward Orientation prior to training. You can register for the Super Steward Orientation on the NYC Parks Super Steward website (there is one every month). You are required to attend this orientation before becoming certified as a Super Steward: Pathkeeper though you can attend this training first.
