AmpSurf™MISSION -AmpSurf™ is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established toPromote,Inspire,Educate, andRehabilitate (PIER) all people with disabilities and their families through adaptive surfing and other outdoor activities.WHO WE SUPPORT -One in five Americans struggle with a life-long disability. Nearly two million men and women have served our country in Iraq and Afghanistan. They are coming home looking for ways to feel whole again and to fit back in to normal life. Whether they are an amputee, visually impaired, suffer from PTS (post traumatic stress), or have quadriplegia. Whether they served in WWII, Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf war, Iraq or Afghanistan. Whether they are an autistic child or a young woman who has lost a limb to cancer, AmpSurf™ offers a unique program to bring the healing power of the ocean and adaptive surfing together for an experience that is both mentally and physically one of the best forms of rehabilitation on the planet.Our goal is simple, we want to help our disabled veterans, adults and children focus on their abilities not their disabilities. To do this we strive toPromote,Inspire,Educate, andRehabilitate (PIER™) these great Americans and the public by providing a quality program and the opportunity for the participants and volunteers to come together and feel the joy and healing of the ocean and surfing. AmpSurf™ has provided our Learn to Surf Clinics to hundreds of our disabled veterans, adults and children who probably never would have had this experience if it hadn’t been for our program.HOW WE DO IT -For over 19 years AmpSurf™ has been providing our Learn to Surf clinics to serve those who need us. We have served hundreds of our disabled veteran American heroes as well as disabled adults and children who probably never would have had this experience if it hadn’t been for our program.Para Surf League™/ PLS™MISSION -Para Surf League™ / PSL™is a division of AmpSurf established toPromote,Inspire,Educate, andRehabilitate (PIER) Adaptive/ Para Surfing athletes and events around the world for all people with disabilities.WHO WE SUPPORT -Contests and athletes engaged in the promotion and establishment of para surfing contest around the globe.Our goal is simple, we want to help establish a series of contests with partners around the globe to give adaptive athletes a platform to excel at adaptive/para surfing on a world class level.HOW WE DO IT -For over 19 years AmpSurf™ has been providing our Learn to Surf clinics to serve those who need us and supporting adaptive surfers and contests  around the world from regional and national events to the World Para Surfing Championships in 2020, ' 21, and '22.  The Para Surf League™/PSL™ has been created to organize and run the contests program and separate the responsibilities of  AmpSurf™ into two distinct programs focused on those served by each. the PSL™ focus will be primarily on athlete and contest development, while AmpSurf™ will primarily focus on teaching those with disabilities, Veterans and First Responders how to surf and do other outdoor activities.Contact email: surf@ampsurf.org

AmpSurf California Events

Thank you for wanting to be a part of our California series of events sharing the healing power of Adaptive Surf Therapy with those living with disabilities, disabled Veterans, and disabled First Responders.

We look forward to hosting you at the AmpSurf event, if for an unforeseen circumstance you cannot attend please let the organizers know as soon as possible.

We will be offering a week of activities for eligible participants: Veterans, First Responders and Individuals with Disabilities.We are doing the following events throughout the week:Thursday- Participant Check-in 1-5pm, Meet and Greet from 5:30-8pm. Sandwiches for the Participants provided by Sandos. All are welcome, location is AmpSurf HQ 1251 Shell Beach Rd. Shell BeachFriday - - Breakfast Burritos at Camp AG provided by Beach n Biscuits, Kayaking in the with Central Coast Kayaks from 9am-1pm. Lunch from Splash at camp. Movies at Regal Cinemas.Saturday - Breakfast at the beach, donuts provided by Foster Donuts, Coffee from Pismo 7-11. Surfing at Addie St. in the morning, and lunch at the beach. Afternoon off, dinner that night at Klondikes in the AG village.Sunday - Breakfast at the beach, cinnamon rolls provided by Old West, coffee from Pismo 7-11. Surfing at Addie St. in the morning. Lunch at the beach provided by 5 Cities Men's Club. Afternoon off and dinner at Cool Cats.Monday - Breakfast at Camp in Ikeda at 7am. Free Surf in the morning for those participants who want to from 8-10am. Lunch at 11am at Garlands and Pickle Ball with Pismo Beach Pickle Ball from 1-3pm. Dinner at Me and Ed's in PismoTuesday - Breakfast at Camp from Andrini's at 7am. Free Surf in the morning for those participants who want to from 8-10am. Golf and lunch at Fin's in Grover Beach from 11-4 Dinner and desert in the AG Village with Village Grill and Rori's Ice Cream.Wednesday - Free Surf in the morning for those participants who want to from 8-10am. then Boomers in Santa Maria for lunch and mini-golf fun from 11:30 - 3pm. Dinner in the evening at F. McClintock’s Thursday - Breakfast at Camp, and lunch at In and Out then Participants return home.We will need Instructors, Water assists, Beach support, Booth help and more on Saturday and Sunday morning at the beach and drivers to get the participants to their destinations each day of the event. AmpSurf’s mission is to Promote, Inspire, Educate, and Rehabilitate (PIER™) all people with disabilities and their families through adaptive surfing and other outdoor activities to keep them focused on their abilities, not their disabilities.

<h1>PARTICIPANTS</h1>W e are excited you are signing up for our 19th Annual Operation Restoration!Below are the details for the event (subject to change). Closer to the date you will receive an email with updates and/or necessary details. Participant fee will reserve your spot at Operation Restoration. If you are a Veteran or First Responder and cannot afford the participant fee and/or lodging and travel expenses, contact us at surf@ampsurf.org for a grant application. Please note grant applicants will only be considered for those that live 100+miles from Pismo Beach. If you are a part of the Wounded Warrior Project, please connect with your contact at WWP for assistance with travel expense costs or reach out to Randa at WWP @ rosman@woundedwarriorproject.org. <h1>VOLUNTEERS</h1>We are doing the following events through the weekendThursday- Participant Check-in from 1-5pm, Meet and Greet from 5:30-8pm . We will need volunteer drivers to pick up particpants at the airport and train station as well as take them to check in and the Meet and greet. We will need volunteers to help check the particiapnts in at Camp Arroyo Grande and to help at the meet and greet.Friday - Breakfast Burritos at Camp AG provided by Beach n Biscuits, Kayaking in the with Central Coast Kayaks from 9am-1pm.
