An Evening with Jayme Moye

Join Nelson resident, adventure journalist, and award-winning travel writer Jayme Moye for a book launch and celebration, featuring dessert by Epiphany Cakes and beverages by Nelson Olive Oil Co.

Jayme will share photos and read excerpts from her story "The Magnificent Mother of the Sea," which was chosen for inclusion in The Best Women’s Travel Writing, Volume 13, the latest edition of the beloved anthology series, launching worldwide on June 9.

The story recounts Jayme's extraordinary experience in Australia during the Great Barrier Reef’s annual coral spawn. Embedded with a team of marine biologists and Indigenous Sea Rangers working to keep the reef alive, she had a front-row seat to one of the greatest reproductive shows on Earth.

Notably Books will be on site selling copies of The Best Women’s Travel Writing, Volume 13, which features 27 travel stories from all seven continents by many of today’s leading female voices in the genre.
