Overview

WABA will lead a bike ride through Ward 8 to celebrate the 2026 summer solstice!

This ride is in partnership with the Smithsonian Anacostia Community Museum as part of their 2026 Summer Solstice celebration. We will begin at the museum, ride through Ward 8 with two short stops, and finish the ride back at the museum.

Rules:

  • Each rider must be individually registered.
  • You must wear a helmet.
  • Children aged 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Riders will not ride ahead of the lead bike.
  • Riders must follow instructions given by any ride marshal.
  • Kids 7 and under should ride on an adult’s bike as a passenger.
