In partnership with Pasa and Penn State Extension, Dr. Francesco Di Gioia and his team from Penn State University share their research on using organic amendments and soil microbes to manage soil pests and pathogens and regenerate soil health.At this workshop, we will learn about how Anaerobic Soil Disinfestation (ASD) works and how to implement this method in your own growing spaces. We will do a demonstration of this method as part of the workshop and will have snacks and refreshments for attendees as well <h3>Venue Details</h3><ul><li>Parking Information    On street parking available. Park on Braddock Avenue and Woodlawn Street</li><li>Bus Line    61A. One block from bus stop</li><li>Site Accessibility Information    Site accessible by sidewalk to entrance. In site is uneven grassy paths.

Site is outdoors under a wooden shelter. No heat.</li><li>Restroom    1 accessibile portajohn and 1 step up portajohn</li><li>Drinking Water    Bring a water bottle. Water available from a sink </li></ul>
