Welcome to the annual Bay Area Financial Planning Day! Join us on Sat, Oct 24th, 2026 at 10:00 AM for a day filled with expert advice on managing your finances. Come to San Francisco Financial Planning Day and get free, objective, no-strings-attached financial advice from CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professionals. CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professionals are volunteering to offer free, one-on-one counseling.

Whether you're looking to save for the future, plan for retirement, or need help managing debt, this event is perfect for you. Our knowledgeable speakers will cover a range of topics to help you make informed decisions about your money.

1:1 Financial Planning Sessions with a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™

Meet in-person at the Main Library with a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ for free, objective, no-strings-attached one-on-one financial counseling. Work together to identify your goals and plan for success. Sessions are available on a first come, first served basis on the day of the event, or by registering in advance via the scheduling link sent via Eventbrite a week before the event.

Economic Justice Programming from the SF Treasurer’s Office

The Office of Financial Empowerment is an initiative of the SF Treasurer’s Office dedicated to advancing economic justice and financial inclusion for all San Franciscans. Learn about the Office’s free programming, including Kindergarten to College, SF Financial Counseling, and the Financial Justice Project’s Fine and Fee Discounts. This workshop is available in-person only.
