Explore one of Indianapolis’s most beloved buildings on Indiana Landmarks’ adults-only tours of the historic Athenaeum, built as Das Deutsche Haus in the 1890s as a clubhouse for German immigrants. Sample traditional German fare, participate in fun activities, and see hidden spaces as you learn about this amazing building.The ticket cost includes one beverage - a pint of beer or a soft drink - and three pre-selected appetizers. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate dietary preferences.<a href="https://www.indianalandmarks.org/" title="https://www.indianalandmarks.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Indiana Landmarks</a> presents these tours in partnership with the <a href="https://athenaeumindy.org/" title="https://athenaeumindy.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Athenaeum Foundation.</a> Tours last approximately 75 minutes and depart from just inside the building entrance on the corner of East Michigan Street and North New Jersey Street (401 E. Michigan Street, Indianapolis).
