Yes,  this event is a family event and at least one adult should stay with any children.

Is there a cost to attend the event?

Accepted Answer

No, the Back to School Bash is free to attend, thanks to the generosity of our donors.

How can I get involved with House of Shine after the event?

At the event, you can learn about all the exciting upcoming opportunities, including the Artisan Market, Change Bowl, Leadership Development programs, Yay Days, and volunteer opportunities. There’s always a way to stay engaged with House of Shine.

Do I need to stay for the entire event?

No, this is a come-and-go event, so you can participate in the activities that interest you most and stay for as long as you like.

Will there be food and drinks available?

Yes! We’ll be offering free "What's Your Scoop?" ice cream cups during the event for first 20, perfect for cooling off while you enjoy the activities.

What is the Journey Stick Showcase?

The Journey Stick Showcase is an opportunity for students to bring in their Journey Sticks from summer adventures and share the stories behind them. It’s a fun way to reflect on the summer and connect with others.

Do I need to register for the event?

If you're not able to registered in advance, we can register you on-site. This is a come-and-go event, so feel free to drop by anytime between 2:00 - 4:00 PM.

100-Day Challenge Reflections,
