<h2>Workshop Description</h2>
Throughout history, stories have been used as a way to make meaning, pass information, and promote development. Bibliotherapy, the use of books within therapeutic context, offers a way to facilitate change within play therapy. During this training, participants will have an opportunity to add bibliotherapy interventions to their play therapy toolbox and come away with new and useful interventions to work with clients with a variety of presenting problems.<ul><li><strong>This workshop meets APT&#x27;s definition of &quot;Live Webinar&quot;</strong></li><li><strong>Play Therapy Training Hours</strong>: 3 hr. After attending this workshop, participants will be able to:<ul><li>Describe 2 models of bibliotherapy</li><li>List the benefits and limitations of bibliotherapy</li><li>Demonstrate the use of books to facilitate change in play therapy for a variety of symptoms and presenting problems</li></ul>

Play therapy credit my be awarded to mental health professionals &amp; graduate students in a mental health program. Participants will be required to achieve 80% or higher on workshop post-test to earn their certificate of completion. This workshop meets APT&#x27;s definition of &quot;Live Webinar&quot;</p><ul><li>3 hours Specialized Live Webinar </li><li>Special Topics- 3hours</li></ul>

<h2>Workshop Presenter</h2><p>Joella Gerber LISW, RPT|  Clinical Manager, Tanager Mental Wellbeing Clinic</p>
Joella is a Registered Play Therapist and Trust-Based Relational Intervention® Practitioner, she believes relationships and connection are the key to wellness and finds hope in knowing that through intentional experience, support, and work, people can find solutions to the challenges in their lives. Joella is especially passionate about providing support and resources to kids and families who have experienced adoption, foster care, or other trauma.

<h3>DETAILED R﻿EFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY</h3><p>All cancellation/refund requests should be submitted by email to merakiinstitute@tanagerplace.org. 
</p><p>For a full refund, request must be received no later than 7 calendar days prior to workshop/event date. 
</p><p>Partial Refunds will be issued for requests sent less than 7 calendar days prior to workshop/event date. Partial refund is considered a refund of the registration fee minus administrative fees outlined below:
</p><ul><li>$25 administrative fee for a half-day workshop</li><li>$50 administrative fee for a full-day workshop
</li><li>$75 administrative fee for 2-day workshop
</li></ul><p>No refund will be issued for any requests not received at least 24 hours before the event start time.
</p><p>Meraki Institute of Learning at Tanager Place reserves the right to cancel/postpone an event due to insufficient enrollment. Meraki Institute of Learning will email registered attendees at least 5 calendar days before event date to notify of the cancellation/postponement. Registered attendees will be provided the option to transfer enrollment to future event date or receive a full refund. 
</p><p>Meraki Institute of Learning at Tanager Place reserves the right to cancel/postpone an event due to inclement weather, instructor illness or instructor family emergency. In the event this occurs, registered attendees will receive e-mail notification before event start time. Meraki Institute of Learning at Tanager Place will send email notification to registered attendees within 10days of cancelled event to announce rescheduled event date. Attendees will be provided the option to transfer enrollment to future event or receive a full refund.
