Birding at Coquille Point
Enjoy a delightful walk on the beach among towering sea stacks with developing colonies of boisterous seabirds.
Enjoy a delightful walk on the beach among towering sea stacks with developing colonies of boisterous seabirds at the beginning of their nesting season. With a little luck we will also see Harbor Seals hauled out on the lower reaches. National Wildlife Refuge volunteer and educator Carol Maude will lead the program. Bring your binoculars or borrow a pair from us. Please note: some may find the 130 steps down, and back up from the beach, beyond their capabilities so please take this into consideration before registering. Meet at the parking lot at the end of 11th Street S.W. in Bandon OR.
[Max 20] FREE Pre-registration is required. Programs may be cancelled due to low enrollment or hazardous weather .
