BLOC Awards - Business Leaders of Coos

Cocktail Hour and Reception will begin at 5:00 PM in the Crystal Ballroom, followed by the BLOC Awards Dinner from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

The Coös Economic Development Corporation (CEDC) is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 2026 BLOC (Business Leaders of Coös) Awards and Dinner, presented with support from Premier Sponsor Fidium. This biennial event celebrates the businesses, entrepreneurs, and community leaders helping drive innovation, resilience, and economic vitality across Coös County.

CEDC’s mission is to promote and support economic growth by fostering a strong workforce, thriving business environment, and vibrant communities throughout the North Country. The BLOC Awards are a direct reflection of that mission, recognizing the individuals and organizations whose leadership, creativity, and dedication continue to shape the future of the region.

Community members, business owners, and organizations are encouraged to submit nominations, and later cast votes, for outstanding businesses and individuals located within Coös County. The nomination and voting process is designed to be community-driven, accessible, and celebratory of the many people and organizations making an impact across the county.

Award categories include:
• Agriculture Award, recognizing contributions to the region’s agricultural heritage and economy
• Legacy Business Award, honoring long-standing businesses that have made a lasting impact on the North Country
• Outstanding Start-Up Award, celebrating innovation, entrepreneurship, and emerging businesses
• Young Entrepreneur Award, recognizing the next generation of business leadership
• Hero Owned Award, honoring businesses owned by veterans, first responders, and healthcare professionals who continue serving their communities through entrepreneurship

The BLOC Awards and Dinner will take place on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa in Whitefield. The evening will bring together business leaders, community members, elected officials, and regional partners for a celebration of the strength, innovation, and collaborative spirit of Coös County.
