The “Bourbon Capital Region” is generally located in and around the City of Bardstown, Kentucky. This area is the largest Bourbon making region and incorporates the cities and towns of Clermont, Boston, Loretto and Lebanon in addition to Bardstown.
This region includes eight major and medium distilleries, 5 of which lie within the City limits of Bardstown including Heaven Hill, Barton 1792, Willett, Bardstown Bourbon Company, and LuxRow.
Located just outside the city but within the Capital Region are; Jim Beam, Booker Noe, Makers Mark and Limestone Branch.
