Come out and explore Bread Lock Park, and observe all the fun critters, plants, and insects that call the park home!
Enjoy a fun filled morning wandering around Bread Lock Park's beautiful pollinator meadow and forested stream, while you also collect valuable observations on the plants and creatures that call the park home.
Snap a picture of a plant or animals, upload it to the iNaturalist app, and help us learn what species are present in our parks! iNaturalist data is used by scientists and researchers all over the world, so by contributing your observations to the project, you are helping to further biodiversity science.
The event will run from 9AM-12PM; Park Naturalists will provide a demonstration on how to use the iNaturalist app from 9 to 9:30am, at 9:30am Park Naturalists will lead a guided hike through the park, helping participants identify plants, animals, and insects that they come across.
These are free and public events, open to all ages and experience levels. These events will be held light rain or shine.
