DOORS OPEN
The doors open to the public! Audience members are welcome to join and watch the competition at 12:30pm, ahead of Round One.
-
ROUND ONE: Spin the BREWLETTE Wheel!
Each competitor will have a chance to spin the Brewlette wheel. Once a TDS target has been selected, competitors will have 8 minutes to brew the competition coffee to try and hit that target. The 8 closest to hit their TDS will advance to Round Two.
-
ROUND TWO: Elimination Brewing!
Round Two starts with a coin flip to determine which coffee will be brewed through the bracket. Eight competitors from Round One will move into an elimination bracket, where two competitors will brew head-to-head in an knock-out style brew-battle. Competitors will have 8 minutes to prepare and serve their coffee. A panel of three judges will select the coffee they like best, without knowing who brewed the coffee or how that coffee was brewed, until there is one competitor remaining: the Brewlette Champion.
