Join Park Naturalist Liv on a walk to learn about all the insects and bugs that make Bread Lock Park buzz and bring home a Bee-Abode!
Did you know that bees talk to each other by dancing? That Butterflies taste food with their feet? That Earwigs protect their young from predators?
Please join Warren County Park Naturalist Liv for a bug-tastic walk around Bread Lock Park! We will use different collection methods to get an up close look at some of Warren County’s fascinating six-legged residents, and construct simple Bee-Abodes for participants to use in their yards or gardens.
Come learn about how important insects are to our planet, and what we can do to protect them in our increasingly bug-blind world. All ages and experience levels (and bug-comfortability levels!) are welcome!
