BZP Riverside: Reading Moai at the Main Library

Almost a year ago, a group of strangers came together for a Wednesday evening book club. Today, they're close friends who still meet regularly, talking about life, and yes, books.That's the magic of a Moai.

You are invited to the Blue Zones Project Reading Moai at the Riverside Main Library, a 10-week book club experience rooted in connection, purpose, and lifelong learning. More than just discussing books, this is a space to build real friendships, spark meaningful conversations, and nourish your well-being through the power of story.

Inspired by the Okinawan tradition of Moai, the lifelong social circles behind some of the world's longest-living communities, this gathering is built on one simple truth: we thrive when we belong to something bigger than ourselves.

Each Wednesday, you'll explore a thought-provoking book alongside a warm, welcoming group of people who are just as curious and open as you are. Whether you're an avid reader or simply looking for a reason to slow down and connect, you belong here.
