Cape Cod Canal Cruise

Join The Sun Will Rise Foundation for a summer evening on the water aboard a scenic Cape Cod Canal cruise.

Together we’ll spend two hours cruising through approximately two-thirds of the Cape Cod Canal to the Herring Run and back, taking in beautiful views and enjoying live onboard commentary about the canal’s history, landmarks and points of interest.

This is an opportunity to spend time with others who understand grief, enjoy the fresh air, and experience a peaceful evening on the water together.

Important Details

• Cruise departs promptly at 6:30 PM
• Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early
• Metered parking is available at the pier and along Onset Avenue through the Town of Wareham
• Indoor and outdoor seating available
• All ages welcome
• Restrooms onboard
• Cash bar available with beer, wine and mixed drinks for purchase
• Guests are welcome to bring their own snack or non-alcoholic beverage
• No glass containers allowed
• No outside alcoholic beverages permitted onboard
• Dress for the weather ... layers and sunscreen are encouraged
• We have chartered the whole boat! Friends and family welcome.
• Max. 6 tickets person family. Contact us if this is an issue.

Cost

FREE but requires a $20 per person deposit that you will receive back at the event. If you sign up and do not attend the event without giving us 10 days notice, the deposit is not refundable. We do this to be able to continue to offer events at no cost to you. Thanks for your understanding. Please don’t let the deposit be a barrier, if cost is an issue, just let us know. We’re committed to making this event accessible to everyone. If you have any accessibility needs (physical or otherwise), please reach out. We want to ensure everyone feels welcome and supported.
