Backbone Comedy is queer-run fundraiser comedy show at As You Are Bar DC, where comics stand up for a cause!
Each show, a percentage of proceeds go to a local organization - on 3/20 we’re supporting Hearthstone, a Trans Community Kitchen + Resource group.
Come for the laughs, stay for the cause!
Seating note: There are 60 seats and 20 standing room spaces. The first two rows of the show are reserved for those needing ASL interpreting services. All other seats are first come first serve. If you have additional accommodation needs please let our team know so we can work with you!
Our shows are regularly photographed - if you want to attend but don’t want to be in our pictures, grab a glow stick necklace to wear or hold at our ticket check-in day-of!
