Carer Awareness, Identification & Support
Online session builds understanding of carers’ challenges, rights and support, helping workplaces ensure carers feel seen and supported.
Patricia Clark, Development and Training Manager, Carers Scotland, will deliver an online Carer Awareness & Support session, which is a perfect opportunity to help build an understanding of the challenges carers face and how they can be better supported.
Key topics:
· Better identifying and understanding of carers in the workplace
· Learning about key carers rights, including workplace rights
· Building knowledge of how carers can be supported in the workplace, e.g. good practice, carer friendly policies
· Understanding how carers can be supported outside the workplace – statutory support, 3rd sector, health & wellbeing, practical & financial support
Let’s work together to ensure no carer feels invisible at work and promote a positive work culture where carers feel understood and supported.
