Visual Arts for Military Wellness

Discover the power of creativity and connection through our Visual Art for Military Wellness program!

Learn to use handbuilding techniques to create a face jug using high-fire clay! You will have the opportunity to use traditional or modern stories as inspiration to create and attach faces using handbuilding methods on pre-formed clay jugs, which will be fired by our potters. Teaching artist Phyllis Seidner-Vesely will show you how to turn your face jug into a hanging planter.Friday Instruction: May 15Time: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.Class Duration: 2 HoursLocation: Pottery StudioClass Limit: 10 peopleClass Fee: Free to veterans and active military!
