Cicada Pinning for Kids ages 5-17

Get ready to spread your wings and learn the art of cicada pinning in a fun and interactive workshop designed for kids ages 5-17.

This workshop is geared towards youth interested in the art of insect pinning. Students will learn the art of cicada pinning with expert techniques. With hands-on practice, students will learn how to delicately position their wings in a flat, museum quality position. Let's pin, preserve, and cherish the magic of cicadas together!

This is a small group session intended to give the utmost attention towards youth with up to 6 participants. All students must come with a parent or guardian to assist the student as needed. Parents and guardians can purchase an Guardian or Observer Ticket in the ticketing portal or at the front desk of the museum.
