What if my scout doesn't complete the prerequisites in time for the badge class?

Accepted Answer

If a scout does not come to the class with all the prerequisites completed, they can not be awarded the badge. Scouts who fail to complete all requirements by the end of the badge class will receive a partial sign off, and can send us their proofs/write ups via email whenever they complete them.

Why did my scout receive an incomplete?

Accepted Answer

When a scout comes to class without/missing prerequisites, they can not be awarded the badge. Our Merit Badge counselors go through all requirements for each merit badge, and require a write up or proofs of requirements that must be completed before hand.
