Clay Pit Ponds State Park Preserve is a 265-acre natural area near the southwest shore of Staten Island. The Interpretive Center offers the community free educational programs, cultural and natural history exhibits, and trail access.

Volunteer at Clay Pit Ponds State Park Preserve to help us keep our park clean and healthy! During Clay Pit Cares: Trail Restoration, we will be restoring the trails by the Gericke Farm. All tools provided.WHEN: Saturday, March 29th, 1pm - 3pmWHERE: The Gericke Farm. Please use our address to navigate to the park: 2876 Arthur Kill Road, Staten Island, NY 10309WHO: All Ages. Best suited for ages 8+. Trails are not stroller friendly.All programs are free! Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. If we are sold out, feel free to walk up and see if we have open spots.Outdoor programs are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather, call for updates.
