Overview

Explore Orange County’s new climate action plans and what they mean for buildings, transportation, waste & local policy.

Orange County is entering a new era of climate planning. Following the County of Orange’s completion of its county-level Climate Action Plan and Buena Park’s adoption of a municipal Climate Action Plan in 2025, local governments are beginning to define how climate goals will shape policy, infrastructure, and community investment across the region.

Join USGBC California’s Orange County Regional Leadership Advisory Board for a moderated discussion and audience Q&A exploring the current and future state of climate action planning in Orange County—and what these plans mean for buildings, transportation, waste reduction, and community resilience.

Hear directly from local sustainability leaders about implementation priorities, policy implications, and opportunities for collaboration as cities and counties work to meet ambitious climate goals.
