Clothing Swaps to promote the conservation of water resources.

Program: Water Resources

The Water Resources Program uses education and citizen science to increase awareness of water connectedness to build a conservation ethic that will sustain and protect our water supply and preserve our quality of life.

Clothing Swaps Save the Drops—Join us for a sustainable fashion event! Did you know it takes over 2,000 gallons of water to produce just one pair of jeans? Fast fashion has a major impact on our planet, especially our water resources. Join UF/IFAS Extension Sarasota County for a Clothing Swap that helps you reduce your water footprint while refreshing your wardrobe.Bring your clean, gently used clothing items to trade with others in the community.
