Coffee class. Home barista 101! Learn to make espresso and steam milk.

Overview

Chicago! Join us for a hands-on, two-hour coffee experience focused on learning the basics of being an excellent at-home barista. This is our very beginner class! If you want to continue your coffee journey, consider signing up for a latte art or espresso class, one of which immediately follows this class.

What to expect:

• You'll use a range of our espresso machines, from very beginner to high-end commerical (please do not bring your own machine to this version!)
• You'll learn how to pull and taste espresso as part of a "dial-in" process
• You'll learn how to steam milk for cortados, lattes, and cappuccinos

Who this is for?

• Coffee lovers who want to recreate their favorite drinks at home
• Home brewers or coffee professionals who need to brush up or start on their skillset
• Anyone who enjoys hands-on, creative learning

All materials and ingredients are provided. No prior experience required. Just come ready to make, taste, and leave with new ideas you can recreate at home!
