The North Country Chamber Players have adopted a “Pay-What-You-Wish ticket pricing for concerts. Seating is limited – free, online reservation encouraged! The recommended ticket price is $25, payable at the door but there is no minimum ticket price required for entry.

Stunning virtuosity, satire and lyricism are the hallmarks of Shostakovich’s Piano Concerto No. 1, the featured work on this program. With lean, transparent piano writing closer to Mozart than to the lush late-Romantic concertos, this piece is often considered a double concerto because of its prominent solo trumpet line.
