Brunett Retreat Center at the Palisades

Join us for a very casual weekend retreat designed for re-centering and renewal. Adults in their 20s and 30s from around Western Washington are invited to Dash Point, just south of Seattle and right on the coast, to experience a wide array of contemplative practices in community.Though only 25 miles from downtown Seattle, <a href="https://archseattle.org/archbishop-brunett-retreat-center/" title="https://archseattle.org/archbishop-brunett-retreat-center/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">the retreat center</a> is located in a peaceful, natural setting of 39 secluded acres of woods, on a beachfront bluff overlooking Puget Sound.This "Holy Quiet" retreat will offer:<ul><li>A selection of various forms of contemplative practices</li><li>An opportunity to go inward, to cultivate a more intimate relationship with God and self</li><li>An invitation to slow down, pause</li><li>A shift away from a word-centric practice to discover/remember the wisdom of silence and the "still, small voice" of God</li><li>An opportunity to be in community with other seekers</li><li>A time to try something different, to experiment with new practices that have the potential to deepen faith in unexpected ways and complement a more traditional practice</li><li>Optional one-on-one spiritual direction from Episcopal priests.</li></ul>Feedback from past year's retreats:"My favorite part was definitely singing Taizé services together! The Retreat Center is 25 miles south of Seattle and less than a mile from Dash Point State Park, a 400 acre green space. Our Holy Hike will take advantage of some of the 11 miles of forest trails there.
