There are currently three county-owned properties under the jurisdiction of the Park Department:• Canal Lands Park, part of the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail• Norma Johnson Center• Trenton Heritage ParkOur staff work hard on providing quality programs at all three locations for the community members of the Tuscarawas County and its surrounding neighbors.

2026 TuscParks Crafting at the NJC

Crafting at the NJC brings families and friends together to enjoy a morning of creation.  Our crafting event is very laid back and allows for adults to work with their children and encourage creative ideas while crafting.  June and July, Thursdays 10-12.

Crafting at NJC: Paint ProjectsCome join us for a fun and creative painting session at the Norma Johnson Center. We will be at the Yellow Pole barn at 4033 OH-39 Dover! Our craft programs are layed back and encourage family fun creations. Many options will be made available to paint. So grab your friends and family and unleash your child's inner artist at this in-person event. Don't miss out on this opportunity to relax, socialize, and create something beautiful. See you there!
