Critter Catchers Volunteer Training
Do you love exploring our waters and observing all the critters that call it home? Join us as a Critter Catcher or Tank Ambassador!
Join PPBEP Staff on July 11th from 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM at Shoreline Park in Gulf Breeze for training to become a Critter Catcher and Observation Tank Ambassadors for the Program.
We are looking for dedicated volunteers to assist with our hands on seining programs for families. This training event will teach the basics of pulling a seine net, critter identification, discovery tank set-up and and communication skills.
Please bring water, snacks, towel, sun protection (hat, sunscreen, etc.), and wear clothes and closed-toed footwear that can get wet (e.g., swimsuit, rashguard/sun shirt, wet suit booties or other water shoes).
Space is limited in this training. Please only sign-up if you intend to sign-up to volunteer for future outreach events. Seining can occur in hot and humid conditions. Critter Catcher and Observation Tank Ambassadors volunteers must be 18 years or older.
