Overview

Come enjoy a fun-filled afternoon of herbal knowledge, garden wisdom, along with a whack of great recipe ideas & tasty treats!

Waverley Workshops is once again teaming up with Shari Maynard of The Butlers Pantry in Elmvale to bring you an afternoon of tasty treats and yummy recipes.

We will be discussing the care and preservation of your favourite herbs, as well as touching on some of their medicinal properties. Shari will lead you through a tasting of some of her wonderful olive oils (perfect for preserving herbs) all while sharing her incredible knowledge and expertise.

Every participant will have a chance to create their own herb butter to take home.

Waverley Workshops is a space where artisans, makers and knowledgeable individuals come to share their expertise. Classes take place in the restored century barn at Waverley Pines, a 70 acre farm located in Simcoe County just north of Barrie. All materials necessary for your day will all be waiting for you, unless otherwise specified. We offer a relaxed hands-on approach to learning that is sure to get your creative juices flowing, and further that spark of interest.
